I want your guys opinion on this mare. She's an 8yo chestnut AQHA mare. She's by a Zippo Pine Bar son and has Impressive and Old Tom Cat on the bottom side (dam is HYPP n/n). She has an old hock injury which prevented her from being started and sent her straight to the broodmare band, otherwise she is sound and confirmationaly correct. She's had 2 foals, a solid sorrel filly in 05 and a buckskin tobiano filly in 06 (both pictured) by the same sire. The pictures don't do much for her but let me know what you think of her. I also wanted your guys idea on how much this horse should cost. She's a 2yo sorrel AQHA filly that's halter/lead broke, ties, loads and stands for the vet/farrier. She will be lightly started this spring. Her sire is Chex My Magic, whom is a champion working cow horse and her dam is by Lone Tree Mirage. The pictures are the best of her either but tell me what you think. Last summer: Recent picture:

They are both cuties. They both look pretty much conformationally correct, although I would need clear front, hind, and side shots to say that for sure, not to mention watch both move. But anywho, for the mare, I guess it depends on what you wanted to do with her, since she's 8 years old and sounds like she was never started? On top of that, her old injury could hinder how much she could do. The 2 year old filly looks nice, its hard to tell on price since markets are all different...around here, after she's broke and ready to go she probably wouldn't bring more than $2,000-3,000 just because there are sooo many QHs, and some very nice ones at that, so prices tend to be fairly low even on a well trained one.
