If anyone has time, I would love some help getting my 5 year olds' race records together...and maybe a few 6 year olds, too. If someone does have time, as an incentive, I am giving that person the choice between these two 2 year olds if you would like:
Hart Of Gold (KY) 2 blk. c. Silver Dancer - Sunday Hart (NZ), by Chief Bearhart
Notes:
This colt breaks so fast that the jockey'll get whiplash!
Doesn't have much natural speed, I fear.
Responds well to urging, picks up some speed.
Seems to have decent endurance.
Shows good consistency. Should run at his best most of the time.
I'd say this colt would show noticeable improvement at steeplechasing.
This colt wants to get the lead early, from what I've seen.
This one has real grit. Wants to win. That could make all the difference.
3/4 brother to multiple G1 winner Sunday Charm, 1/2 to stakes placed, Heated Hart, 3/4 to winning 3 year old, Silver Laced.
Mountain Song (KY) 2 ch. c. Rock Slide - Lucky Tune (HK), by Bowman's Band
Notes:
Breaks slow. I suggest liberal application of fire to his butt!
Well, his running gait seems about right.
Shows some action when the jockey asks. We'll know more come raceday.
Appears to have plenty left after workouts. Looks good to me.
Shows good consistency. Should run at his best most of the time.
You may have a jumper here. Consider steeplechase for this colt.
Seems to run steadily. Might prefer to move late.
Runs alertly with the others during practice. Seems to be a good sign.
First foal of 1/2 sister to Silver Charm.
And to make things a bit easier, here is a list of the horses I need:
Afleetness, 5 F.
Cause of Christmas, 5 F.
Silver Circle, 5 C.
Special Premiere, 5 C.
Dancing Storm, 5 F.
Dark Legend, 6 C.
Hardly Soaring, 6 C.
Sunday Charm, 6 C.
Surprisingly, 6 F.
I would really appreciate the help!! I'm insanely busy these next couple months, but I really want to get everything updated so I don't get too far behind! Thanks in advance!
